The purpose of this course is to damiliarize all aspiring pilots with some of the more technical aspects of weather and to enable you understand what is behind an aviation forecast.

You must understand the weather at your departure base, the enroute weather, and the weather at your destination. Don't take good weather for granted, obtain the latest forecast.
